The mechanical system features a high-performance HVAC solution designed to meet stringent indoor air quality requirements. These include variable air volume systems and zoning strategies to maintain precise temperature and humidity control across patient care and administrative areas. Energy-efficient components ensure compliance with local energy codes while reducing operating costs. Ventilation is optimized to meet medical facility standards, ensuring fresh air supply and effective exhaust from high-use areas such as treatment rooms.
Electrical upgrades focus on energy efficiency and user convenience. Standard 2×4 LED lighting fixtures will be installed throughout the office to reduce energy consumption. Occupancy sensors and multi-level switching will be integrated into private offices and shared spaces to comply with IECC. In addition, newly installed switched electrical outlets will be added to meet operational needs and ensure compliance with IECC standards.
The plumbing design adds a sink and dishwasher to the breakroom. Hot and cold water lines, along with waste connections, will be extended to accommodate these fixtures.
This renovation project will transform the Dally + Associates office into a modern, efficient, and comfortable workspace. With improved air quality, energy-efficient systems, and enhanced staff amenities, the updated office will support productivity and sustainability while meeting the specific needs of a structural engineering team.
