Mechanical and Electrical design services were provided by GK Engineers, LLC for the ground-up construction of the Guyana Technical Training College in Guyana, South America. The campus consists of multiple buildings:

Classroom (2-Story) Building – 7,000 square feet
Admin Building – 4,000 square feet
Dining Building – 4,000 square feet
Workshop – 15,000 square feet
Dorm – 22,500 square feet
Maintenance – 2,500 square feet

GK provided engineering sizing and calculations related to mechanical and electrical systems. Mechanical engineering services were provided for the facility per project requirements, including calculations of unit heating/cooling loads to determine sufficient capacity and HVAC drawings for permitting and construction.

GK provided lighting system power design coordinated with the owner and lighting supplier, as well as designs for electrical service and distribution, and plans for branch circuits for Wiring Devices, HVAC equipment, and any Plumbing equipment.
